It is thanks to the design of our paintshop for Stellantis in Gliwice, Poland, that Geico and Stellantis won the Jury’s Award.
A major focus of the presentation was the use of Geico technologies in the paintshop, on-site management, and installation strategy, all of which enabled the design to be completed in a record time.
The first edition of #AssolombardaAwards is born to celebrate the excellence of Italian companies that have particularly distinguished themselves with innovative projects. In particular, our Group’s President & CEO @Daryush Arabnia received the special mention in the Digitization Category for the #SmartPaintshop project, our integrated system of solutions for industry 4.0.
The second edition of the Stellantis Supplier Awards honoured the achievements of 12 suppliers in 9 categories for their outstanding quality, commitment and operational excellence in 2021.
GeicoTaikisha was recognised as the best Capex supplier and awarded for its expertise in developing highly technical production equipment and ensuring its implementation with the utmost rigour.
The statement explaining the reasons for the award reads: “GeicoTaikisha teams are truly involved, dedicated and customer-oriented with each project phase and really care about long-term relationships with their customers.
GeicoTaikisha excellently handled the extraordinary turbulence that occurred during the construction of the Paintshop in Gliwice (Poland). Despite all the difficulties, the best timing ever was achieved from initial order to first approved car, creating a new benchmark for Stellantis and also for the entire automotive world. Congratulations to GeicoTaikisha for the work done”.
The Manufacturing Leadership Council, part of the National Association of Manufacturers – the largest manufacturing association in the United States representing small and large manufacturers in every industry – awarded GeicoTaikisha the 2021 Manufacturing Leadership Award in the Operational Excellence Leadership category for its innovative PES – Paintshop Execution System within the Smart Paintshop project.
J-Pm, acquired by GeicoTaikisha and now GeicoTaikisha Deutschland, ranked 44th in the 2021 “FT1000” list of “fast growing companies in Europe” published by the Financial Times.
Daryush Arabnia has won the “Generational Transition” Award at the Best To Brianza Awards 2020, dedicated to generational continuity.
In fact, in 2020 Daryush Arabnia took over his father Ali Reza Arabnia’s role, becoming CEO & President of the Group. Therefore the innovation project is carrying on. This focuses mainly on sustainability and investment for the new generations, whilst maintaining the values of the company’s DNA.
The prestigious 2019 Excellence in Innovation Award was presented to Ali Reza Arabnia, the winner for this first edition, on Olivetti Day, an event dedicated to the figure and the vision of Adriano Olivetti himself.

The Great Place to Work® Institute has recognized Laura’s Garden of Thoughts as one of Italy’s best places to work.
The Board of Directors of ASFOR (the Italian Association for Managerial Training, whose goal is to develop managerial culture in Italy and to certify the offering of management training courses) conferred the 2018 ASFOR Award for Excellence to entrepreneur Ali Reza Arabnia for the vision and entrepreneurial action with which he was able to revamp Geico Group, which has become one of the world leaders in the automotive plant engineering sector in just 5 years’ time: a leadership position that was further consolidated in 2011 through the alliance established with Taikisha. The award was given in recognition of the ethical values and conduct that Ali Reza Arabnia has succeeded in instilling in his personnel, and in the company’s modus operandi.
It was with the Smart Paintshop project that Geico won the auto body painting industry’s most prestigious award: the Surcar Cannes Innovation Award.
The Smart Paintshop, which was introduced for the first time worldwide, launched the Group into the industry 4.0 trend by revolutionizing the traditional concept of auto body paintshops.

Geico was nominated as one of the German automaker Daimler’s top suppliers and partners for the International Procurement Services category.
As a new strategic asset, the Group’s young executive vice president, Daryush Arabnia, received the “Next” Award at the 2015 Best to Brianza Awards dedicated to generational continuity: an economic and corporate value that guarantees the company’s progress in pursuit of success.
Geico won the corporate social responsibility award, distinguishing itself among companies nationwide for its solidarity, capacity for innovation, humanity, and sense of civic duty. The award is sponsored by the Municipality of Sesto San Giovanni and Banca Credito Cooperativo.
Geico won the Innovation Award for the second year in a row. What drew the attention was the innovative J-Hive project, patented by Geico: an octagonal painting booth that meets the increasingly sophisticated needs of automakers by offering a 22% reduction in energy consumption, as well as a decreased costs with respect to any other installed solution currently available on the market.
During a prestigious ceremony held at Rome’s Quirinale Palace, the President, Chairman and CEO of Geico, Ali Reza Arabnia, was awarded the honor of Knight of the Order of Merit for Labor by Giorgio Napolitano, the President of Italy at the time.
Geico received three Awards at SURCAR Shanghai, the world’s largest international conference dedicated to the main players operating in the auto body processing and painting sector.
Geico won the fifth edition of the “From Father to Son – the passion for doing business” award for the “Internationalization” category. The award is promoted by the financial consulting company Eidos Partners, in conjunction with the Milan and Monza Brianza Chambers of Commerce, and with the support of Borsa Italiana, Schroders Private Banking, Deloitte, Negri-Clementi Studio Legale Associato and Bain & Company.
Geico received an award from the Automaker QOROS for its paintshop in Souzhou with a production capacity of 200,000 auto bodies/year. Thanks to the use of Geico technologies, the plant has been recognized as the world’s most modern, boasting a 33% reduction in energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
Geico received a “Certificate of Honor” for its excellent presentation during the “15th National Paint and Finishing Technology Seminar” held in Hefei, China.
Geico focused its presentation on its innovation and sustainability projects and how they’ve been applied at the QOROS plant, one of the most important in all of China, and the most innovative in the world in terms of technological solutions and energy efficiency.
Geico received the Ambrogio Lorenzetti Award for corporate governance, ranking first among unlisted companies in the “Independence of directors, minority rights and transparency” category. The Award was established by GC Governance Consulting as a means of acknowledging boards of directors, companies, institutions, managers and administrators who have adopted good corporate management practices over the past three years.
The President, Chairman and CEO of Geico, Ali Reza Arabnia, receives the Spiga d’Oro award at the event’s 22nd edition. He received the award in recognition of his ability to instill his company with a culture of innovation, excellence and technology, openness to the international markets, and respect for the workplace and workers, as well as his valuable contributions to the social, cultural and civic development of the surrounding communities.
Geico took first place in the innovation category thanks to its excellent research and development facility: the Pardis Innovation Centre.
Geico won the 2012 edition of the BtoB Awards as the best industrial company in Brianza.
The Group’s Brazilian partner, Falcare Equipamientos Industriais, received an award from Mitsubishi Motors of Brazil for the Catalão City plant, where the Pajero Sport, Pajero TR4, L200 pickup and Triton pickup are produced.
On December 30, General Motors India awarded Geico the first prize for safety at the Talegaon work site.
